Victoria Beckham made it clear that she didn’t want to take part in the Spice Girls reunion, and now she’s revealed how she really feels about former Spice members Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel B’s newly formed trio GEM.

The girls formed the group after VB and Mel C refused to take part in the Spice Girls 20 year anniversary reunion, and VB says she thinks it will be “quite sad” if they sing any old-school Spice Girls songs.

When asked by the Sunday Times Magazine if she wishes them luck, she said: “Of course, as a new group, I do. I do think they should sing new material, though, because what we did as the Spice Girls was so special. If they sang Spice Girls songs, I think I might be a bit sad.” Yikes!

The group formed in 1994 and announced an indefinite hiatus in 2000…

Mel C also turned down the chance to reunite with the Spice Girls for the reunion, but she’s clearly not bothered, because she’s already released her solo single Anymore from new album Version Of Me – which she performed at G-A-Y in London on Saturday night.

Just weeks before, Mel addressed her decision to turn down the Spice reunion.

Explaining her reasons she wrote in her essay for LOVE: “The hardest part for me was letting people down, the girls, the fans, civilisation?! Unfortunately something didn’t feel quite right and I had to follow my gut.”

“Is it a new rule that bands have to reform? Why can’t we just be remembered for our incredible achievements in the nineties?”

Well, when you were in the best girl band of all time – YES you have to have a reunion!

Emma was hoping VB changed her mind on the reunion…
