It’s been four long years since the last film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 opened in cinemas in 2012, and Twihard fans have been dying for more vampire goodness ever since then!

And the Twilight gods must have listened, because in a new interview with Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-chairman Patrick Wachsberger, he reveals that the company has their eye on going back for more with their most successful saga…

“It’s a possibility,” he reveals to ScreenDaily of the possibility of more Twilight films. “Not a certainty but it’s a possibility. It’s about Stephenie [novelist Stephenie Meyer]. If she wants to tell a story related to those characters we’re here for her.”

We’d be keen for another Twilight movie…

The Twilight Saga raked in more than $3 billion at the box office, and as well as the four initial books in the series, there have been additional releases, including Midnight Sun – which tells the story of the first book from Edward’s point of view – and Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined – which is the original novel but with the character’s swapping gender.

Speaking about the popular franchise, Patrick said: “‘Twilight’ was a game changer for everyone involved.”

Yes it was, and we want more please!
