So um, this is probably the best news we’ve heard in a while. Entertainment Weekly have announced that there will be a new dance competition show on NBC, with Jenna Dewan Tatum as a judge and mentor, and her husband Channing Tatum – aka Magic Mike – helping produce the six episode series. Yep, you heard right.

The show is still untitled, but we can’t wait! At the moment Channing is only set to produce, but come on… he’s Magic Mike, of course he’ll make an appearance – or two. Or as many as he would like. We don’t mind.

Channing and Jenna met on the set of their 2006 dance movie Step Up, so they are essentially heading back to what brought them together – dance.

Jenna first started as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, Pink, Missy Elliott and Christina Aguilera, while Channing also began as a dancer – appearing in a Ricky Martin music video. So they’re pretty much the epitome of #dancegoals and #couple goals, natch.

Think back to that recent episode of Lip Sync Battle, where Jenna and Channing went head to head – Channing nailing a rendition of Beyonce’s Run the World, and Jenna giving Channing the ultimate lap dance to Pony, channeling her inner Magic Mike.

Let’s be honest, anything that these two do involving dancing will be a success!

Stay tuned!
