The hotel security guard at the centre of the infamous Kardashian jewellery heist speaks out for the first time – and it’s shocking!

The traumatised Algerian father-of-one, who asked to be identified only by his first name – Abdulrahman – because of fears for his safety, told MailOnline exactly how the robbery unfolded and how he tried to comfort a terrified Kim Kardashian as as she was bound and gagged by thieves.

“‘I said don’t touch her. Don’t harm her.’ I opened the door. Kim started screaming and they pulled her out of bed.”

The 39 year-old stated that he let the gang into Hôtel de Pourtalès because he believed they were police officers and was ordered by robbers to unlock Kim’s door. “They told me they are there for money, just money and not jewels”.

Terrified, he even acted as interpreter because Kim was screaming and the robbers couldn’t understand her. After the horrific ordeal, he reveals that Kim hugged him – and he told her: “The most important thing is we are alive.”

Abdulrahman continued, “There was no real security at all. It’s a choice. The hotel doesn’t mind about security. We told them years and years before, you have to make a camera, you have to put [in place] a security process, about keys. Nothing was locked, there was no proper security there.” He went on to claim that the security code for the front door was not changed since 2010 and “everyone knew it.”
