Miranda Kerr has described her $2.15 million four bedroom Malibu home as a “tree house,” which may be stretching it a little – but there’s no denying that the pad she’s lived in since 2014 is nothing short of luxurious.

“I knew that this house was it at first sight. It needed a lot of work, but it had a great view. It wasn’t right on the water, so it was protected from the wind and very private,” she reveals in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

“I could just see the potential. It felt so right. In some ways it feels like a tree house. That was another thing that I loved. It’s all open, and the view of the ocean makes it feel more spacious.”

Of course, she also has a garden where she grows kale and berries, an infrared sauna, a guesthouse-turned-meditation room, a gym, and a beautiful waterfall with a koi pond at the bottom. So just the usual…

Miranda’s Malibu home…

And that’s only the beginning… She has pillows made from Hermès scarves (we can’t even afford one!!!), a clear baby grand piano, and in her words, “a great kitchen.”

“When I was a child, I spent a lot of time at my grandma’s house,” she says.

“People were coming in and out. She was always in the kitchen making something. There was always food and snacks. She would play the piano, and we would sing and dance. So those were my two priorities. I wanted to have a piano and a great kitchen, which is always the heart of the home.”

Miranda is open about her eco-friendly lifestyle, and that’s blatantly obvious when you step foot in her house! She has a switch next to her bed that turns off the lights, WiFi, and everything that emits electromagnetic radiation!WHERE CAN WE GET ONE?!

What’s more, her fiancé, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, recently gifted her the most-amazing-present-ever.

A machine that draws moisture from the air, and produces ALL the water for the house – from the shower, to the drinking water to the koi pond. WTAF!!!

“This property was a dust bowl when I bought it, and now it’s so green. This system really just pulls water out of the sky. It was a very thoughtful present because he knows how much I love a garden.”

Pics of Miranda’s to-die-for home are in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, on stands August 16.

Because when you stop and look around… Life is pretty amazing ❤️
