Celebs around the world have rallied around singer-songwriter, Michael Buble, after it was revealed that his three year-old son, Noah, is battling cancer.

Among the first to react to the news was Alyssa Milano, who tweeted an emoji of a broken heart. Josh Groban posted, “My family & I send all our love & prayers to @michaelbuble’s 3 year old son Noah as he fights cancer. Stay strong little guy.” Sharon Osbourne wrote, “Sending positive thoughts and prayers to @MichaelBuble and Luisana for their son Noah.”

The Grammy Award-winning singer’s sister-in-law Daniel Lopilato said the news of his son cancer diagnosis has left the family “broken in half.” She confirmed that the three-year-old was not suffering from leukaemia, and also revealed the cancer didn’t affect his central nervous system. Noah was diagnosed when he visited doctors with a suspected case of mumps, Argentinian website La Nacion reported.

“We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children,” Michael’s joint statement with Luisana, 29, read. “Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

The couple, who wed in 2011, are also parents to 9-month-old son Eli. During his interview with Us Weekly, the proud father shared how nine-month-old Eli was nearly walking and that Noah’s current obsession is Spider-Man.

He also shared how fatherhood has changed his perspective on things. “It has given me great perspective. It has helped me to draw a line in the sand and to know that I am defined by being a father and a family man, not by my job,” he said.

Our thoughts are with the entire Buble family. Get well soon, Noah!
