Jono Pitman and Clare Verrall didn’t last two weeks as a couple on reality TV show Married at First Sight – and now he’s hit back at his former ‘wife’ Clare Verrall, after she told people not to apply for the Channel Nine dating series.

On Wednesday, Clare revealed to the Daily Mail that her mission to find love on the show was a total waste of time, and it also left her out of pocket, after getting paid a shocking $110 per week salary.

Speaking about people applying for the show, she said: “Run away. They [Love At First Sight] have no issue in a love story like the US version which is very different at matching people with much more consideration including on an intellectual and communication level.

“The Australian version simply want to use people, assign them a character and make money. I never even spoke to that neuro whatever –  she is an ‘expert’ on our season. None of us did. The ‘science’ is b******t.”

Jono took to Instagram yesterday, telling Clare to “stop playing the victim.” Eeeek!

We Knew exactly what we were getting paid Per week and the “allowance” we EACH received for the honeymoon before we went on the show! If we over spent on the honeymoon or ( spent the money on Non related expenses that had nothing to do with the honeymoon ) then that would come back on us one would think 🤔🤔 I can say I was able to continue my normal life! Work, gym, catching up with mates, and sport because that’s what I chose to do! At the end of the day it’s a choice isn’t it? Obviously the reality TV show added some more stress to your life! But you have to expect that! Everyone else from the social experiment seems to be doing extremely well and are able to continue with their normal life because They choose to #spotplayingthevictim #beensilentfortoolongnow✌🏻️ #letitgoletitgo❄️❄️❄️ Anyone thinking of giving it a go do so! You only live once and who knows you might find the one 💑 And if you think your going to make money out of it don’t do it as your doing it for all the wrong reasons Feel free to share!!! ✌🏻️✌🏻#married9 #marriedatfirstsight

The reality TV couple – who met for the very first time on the matchmaking show – made headlines after their nasty split aired in April.

Super awks…
