She regularly tops sexiest-women polls, and with her fun, flirty vibes, it’s no wonder the wives of Hollywood’s biggest actors are said to feel a little insecure when their husbands are working alongside her!

But while Margot Robbie’s earnt a solid rep for putting the va-va-voom into all her films – hello, The Wolf Of Wall Street and Focus – the Aussie stunner reckons she’s not interested in being a sex symbol – especially since she’s been in a relationship with assistant director Tom Ackerley since 2014!

“I’m not very thrilled with being labelled that way. It kind of minimises your work in a film like [The Wolf Of Wall Street] where you’re working with Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio. I don’t want to be reduced to the cliches that come with being called sexy or a blonde bombshell.”

So you don’t want to be desribed as a bombshell anymore, despite playing a total hottie in your latest flick Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Does that mean you’ll be taking on very different roles from now on?

I want to keep looking for roles where the main interest will be in the character itself, her importance in driving a story forward, rather than her relationship with the male character. But I think films like The Wolf Of Wall Street and Focus gave me a chance to play very charismatic and clever women, even though they have a glam side to them.

What was it like working with a comedy legend like Tina Fey?

I have to admit it was intimidating at first, when you know you’re working with someone who is one of the greatest sketch comedians and comedic actresses of all time. I love Mean Girls. I can recite most of the lines, and I’d sometimes do that in front of Tina – until I remembered that she actually wrote the script!

It must have been amazing working with Will Smith again in Suicide Squad?

Will is such a great guy on and off the set that when I heard he was negotiating to be in the film I kept texting him saying, “You better be in this movie!” I enjoyed working with Will so much on Focus and I was overjoyed when I finally heard that we’d be working together again.

It sounds like your social life is anything but boring. We hear you recently partied with Prince Harry!

Yes! Suki Waterhouse was having a big housewarming party and I thought I’d pop in for a short while to say hello. Then, of course, I got into the party mood and I wound up talking to Prince Harry for half an hour and I didn’t know it was him!

You skipped uni to do Neighbours. Do you feel like you missed out on the whole student-party scene?

I’d still get to go to all the parties with some of my friends and at least I got to experience some of the fun side of university life. Sometimes, students would come up to me and say they hadn’t seen me around before. Then they’d ask me what I was studying and I would say marine biology!

Did you get up to any wild stuff in your younger days?

I went to Italy for two months with some of my friends and we went to San Marco square [in Venice] where we had some Cokes. But when the bill came it was so incredibly high that we just ran off without paying it. Unfortunately, one of the girls left her backpack behind with her passport in it, so we had to go back. We all had to pay a fine!

In Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, Margot plays a British war correspondent Tanya, who rates herself as being a sex symbol!
