Kim Kardashian has been holed up in her and hubby Kanye West’s NYC apartment ever since her terrifying ordeal in Paris, where she was held at gunpoint and robbed of $11 million worth of her jewellery on Monday morning.

Kim’s BFF Jonathan Cheban was spotted entering her NYC building with a gift basket earlier today, revealing to reporters waiting outside, “She’s not doing so good.”

Entertainment Tonight reported on Tuesday that Kim was “traumatised” by the robbery, and is “still in shock.”

“When the incident happened, [Kim] was half asleep and was woken up so abruptly. She was on little sleep to begin with since getting to Paris. She still hasn’t fully been able to comprehend what happened,” said another source.

And while most people are being supportive of Kim after the horrific event, fashion icon and close family friend Karl Lagerfeld has had mixed feelings over what happened – even criticising her for flaunting her wealth.

“You cannot display your wealth and then be surprised that some people want to share it with you,” he told reporters after his Chanel show.

Kim often shows off her jewellery to her 100 million social media followers, and just last week she tweeted a picture of her diamond ring, which was later stolen in the raid.

“If you’re that famous and you put all your jewellery on the net, you go to hotels where nobody can come near to the room,” he said.

“I think it’s a very bad thing for Paris but I don’t understand why she was in a hotel with no security.”

Karl added, “Image wise, I think it is very bad. We make all of these efforts to make Paris appealing and then this happens. Apparently they were people from Eastern Europe.”

The comments come after he showed his support for Kim, holding up a sign that read: “Dearest Kim, we are all with you.”

Meanwhile, singer Usher, who arrived in Paris just hours after the robbery, said he’s not sure what to make of the whole thing.

“I feel more secure than ever, absolutely (safe),” he said, adding that he has stayed in the No Address Hotel where the ordeal occurred and claims it’s a secure environment.

“(Gun crime) like that happens all the time. In America people get robbed everywhere, man. Unfortunately it does maybe take a celebrity to shine a light on unfortunate situations.”

Either way, it’s still something no one should ever have to go through – celebrity or not!
