Kim Kardashian may have only made it to no.42 on Forbes top 100 highest paid celebrities list, but she’s killing it on this fortnight’s cover of the magazine!

Kim was understandably super excited about the honour, sharing the flawless cover on Insta on Monday with the caption: “Such a tremendous honor to be on the cover of @forbes! I never dreamed this would happen and know my Dad would be so proud. #NotBadForAGirlWithNoTalent”

Kim has been dominating the phone app market with her popular game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, which has made a whopping $160 million in revenue since its June 2014 launch!

Yep, Forbes reports that 40% of Kim’s earnings over the past year have come just from her app!!!

In her cover interview with the mag, Kim explains that the game’s maker Glu Mobile allows her to have total control of her virtual characters.

This means she gets full editorial approval, being able to make the decisions on everything from the clothing and storylines, to what makeup and hairstyles the characters will wear.

“I would give [Glu] bikinis and be like, ‘Hurry up and mock up this bikini, because I’m going to wear it, and then you can have it live in the game!’

“The whole idea was to make it feel as live-time as possible,” she says.

Kim’s app has made $160 million in revenue since it’s June 2014 launch

Although it initially experienced resounding success, the app made $2.5 million less in 2015 than it had the six months prior to that when it first came out.

But, the game could have never been released in the first place, after Kim revealed that she was hesitant about launching the app, but her hubby Kanye West convinced her to do it!

“I loved videogames, growing up. I remember I asked Kanye, ‘Should I do this?’ He was like, ‘Yes!’ That’s how he got into music, because he wanted to do music for videogames and wanted to create videogames. [But] I was like, ‘I wonder if people are really going to … mimic my life,” Kim admitted.

“When people looked at me in a way like, ‘Why is she stepping into the tech world? That’s not her territory! Stick to reality TV!’ I was like, ‘No.’”

“This is fun for me. Now I’m coming up with Kimojis and the app and all these other ideas. I don’t see myself stopping.”

And we don’t want you to stop Kimmy!
