It’s been a matter of will they or won’t they, when it comes to the divorce of Khloe Kardashian and her estranged hubby Lamar Odom.

Since his near-fatal overdose at a brothel in Nevada last October, Khloe’s been by Lamar’s side – and once he started to get his health back on track, it looked like the couple could be working through things. But, after Lamar was spotted out drinking at a bar in March, Khloe realised he hadn’t changed, and decided that she’d have to separate herself from the relationship.

On Tuesday, she made it clear that it’s over for good between her and Lammy, when she wrote a spiritual and lengthy essay for Lena Dunham’s newsletter Lenny.

KoKo reveals that she’s now in a “different place”, and she needs to protect herself “emotionally and mentally” from Lamar – the man who cheated on her, and who has gone back to his old ways of drinking and partying.

“I came to a point in my marriage where I had to make the choice to take care of my own mental and emotional well-being in order to protect myself and my happiness,” Khloe said.

“I’ve been blessed with a lot in my life, and I’ve also had challenges. It was a challenge for me when I decided to get divorced.”

She added: “At my core, I don’t believe in divorce, but I came to a point in my marriage where I had to make the choice to take care of my own mental and emotional well-being in order to protect myself and my happiness.”

“I am at peace with that decision and do feel like I honored my vows to the very end. I feel that I kept the serious vows I made in front of God with every inch of my heart, which is why I am still honoring them today even though my relationship with my ex-husband is in a different place.”

That’s it Koko, do what’s best for you!
