We admire Iggy Azalea for keeping it real – after recently admitting in an interview with Schön! Magazine, that the reason she cancelled her 2015 Great Escape tour was because she was on the verge of a breakdown.

“I had to have a psychotic breakdown last year,” Iggy said. “I felt tired and stressed out.”

She was originally set to perform throughout the US and Canada at the beginning of April last year, when her team pushed the tour back to September, later cancelling the tour completely.

In June last year, she told Seventeen magazine that it was because she had a “different creative change of heart”, but then after recently chatting with Schön!, she said that it was because she needed a break from the spotlight.

“Last year, I felt like I was definitely not in control of the media’s narrative of me. It made me feel very out of control of my own life or my ability to have my own perception of who I was.”

“You don’t want someone else writing your narrative and making you the villain. Then I just realized that, you know what, you can’t control it and I think I accepted that and moved on to living my life.”

Last year, Iggy feuded with Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj, blaming Britney for their song Pretty Girls being a dud, meanwhile Nicki hinted that Iggy doesn’t write her own music. Yikes!

Iggy still isn’t sure whether she’ll do another tour, as she’s planning her wedding with basketball player fiance Nick Young.

“See? It’s too much stuff! I’ve got to have a wedding and go on a f–king honeymoon and … put on an arena tour, all across the whole world.”

Aren’t women meant to be pro’s of multi-tasking? We’re sure you can do it Iggy!
