After news that only three of the five original Spice Girls – Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Mel B – would be reuniting for their 20th anniversary, fans were disappointed that other Spices Victoria Beckham and Mel C didn’t want to take part.

But Emma Bunton has revealed that she’s still hoping Victoria Beckham will change her mind, like she did of both the London 2012 Olympics and the band’s 2008 reunion tour.

Appearing on This Morning, Baby Spice confessed that she’s even spoken to Posh’s hubby David Beckham, who is totally supporting his wife in taking part in a potential comeback.

“For a long time she has wished us the best,” Emma told the hosts.

“I was talking to her at David’s birthday party and he said, ‘You’ve got to do something.’ Maybe she will change her mind, she does that, who knows.”

But even if VB doesn’t agree to take part, Baby Spice may have already found a potential replacement for her… LOL!

Joking around with host and die-hard Spice Girls fan Rylan Clark, Emma said: “There is nothing set in stone I personally think we should do something.

“I think we need a Posh and [gesturing at Rylan] we’ve got a Posh…”

After Geri, Emma and Mel B announced their plans last month to form trio girl group GEM (an acronym of the three of their names), former Spice Mel C wasn’t happy.

A source told The Sun: “Mel has told the other girls she is consulting lawyers about whether the reunion can go ahead without her.

“She believes she brought music credibility to the group and there is no Spice Girls without her.

“There was talk of using the nickname GEM but they’ve decided against that because the strength is through the Spice brand.”

The girls are said to be going ahead with their plans for a comeback regardless, and are reportedly planning a huge concert in London’s Hyde Park.

In a 40-second clip released to YouTube last month, the trio announced the exciting news!

What do you guys think about the comeback? Will it be the same without all five girls?
