It’s taken Georgia Love six episodes to take Mr May on a single date… (We know, we can’t believe it either!) But the wait has paid off – hellloooo, did you see that kiss?

We’re still trying to catch our breath, and so is he as he confesses to NW what parts of their date were left on the cutting room floor. (We’re upset about this Channel TEN – just FYI!)

“I went on my date and, at the end, it was like Lady and the Tramp with the spaghetti – and I was like, ‘Yes, it counts!’ But the producers were like it doesn’t count, that was another half-kiss [after the Mills & Boon photoshoot] – you haven’t actually kissed her yet. So we did finally actually kiss, but I feel like both of those [half-kisses] sort of broke down the barrier to the last one.”

The 26-year-old fireman says he’s pretty smitten with Georgia (obvi), admitting the Disney-themed date was his best day ever!

“We walked around the corner holding hands and there’s 15 Dalmatian puppies… And she was like, ‘Argh, sorry I couldn’t get 101’, and I was just like ‘PUPPIESSSS!'”.

“She took me on a magic carpet ride around Sydney and then to the puppies, so we both layed down, she’s on my arm and we’re both looking around at the puppies crawling around and licking us – that was kind of a moment.”

And everyone knows a fairytale ends with a kiss… or three in Cam’s case, as he reveals he was determined not to leave the date without one. “I sort of went ‘Oh, crap, it’s what I’ve wanted the entire time, I can’t walk away from this without it.'”

Though we were left scratching our heads as to why it took so long for Georgia to give Cam some alone time, Cam wasn’t so confused, suggesting it may have had something to do with their first meeting. “I forgot her name and had to remember it quickly,” he admits.

“I kind of blanked… She asked me what I did and I was like, ‘Uh, I’m a firefighter.’ In my head, I was like, ‘You’re a firefighter? Yep, you are – go ahead and say it… Not the coolest move.”

But his little slip-up on the red carpet hasn’t hurt him too much as judging by their first solo date there’ll be plenty more to come.

“It was awesome to finally spend time with her without the other guys and to get to know her a bit better,” he tells NW. “I’m a really big kid and I’m happy with spending as much time with Georgia as possible after this date. It helped break down the barriers.”

Cam, you can break down our barriers any time…
