Calvin Harris has blasted ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift on Twitter, after it was revealed that she wrote his hit song This Is What You Came For.

Calvin first praised his former flame on her amazing ability to write hit songs, after admitting that she’d sat down and written the lyrics before sharing it with him when they were still dating.

But in a matter of seconds his tweets turned nasty, accusing Taylor of trying to tear him down, and refusing to let her ‘bury’ him like she did with Katy Perry. Ouch!

Of course, Katy had to have her say in the matter, retweeting a post from May 2015 which read: “Time, the ultimate truth teller,” alongside a meme of Hillary Clinton raising her eyebrows. LOL!

Calvin’s tweets posted on Wednesday read: “I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym.

“Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though. I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.

“Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you’ve earned a great one. God bless everyone have a beautiful day.”

His Twitter rant came just after Taylor’s rep confirmed she’d written This Is What You Came For under the fictional name Nils Sjoberg. “Taylor Swift wrote ‘This Is What You Came For’ under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg,” she revealed to MailOnline on Wednesday.

Calvin said that Taylor sings a little bit on the track too, however sources close to the pop star tell TMZ that he’s downplaying her involvement, because she actually wrote the melody to the song.

Cal’s sources confirmed that Taylor did in fact write the melody, but insist that it was his work on the song that turned it into a smash hit!

Taylor and Calvin split last month, and it’s been reported that their relationship broke down because Calvin ‘disrespected’ Taylor after the track was released.

According to TMZ, Taylor and Calvin both agreed not to release the song as a couple, because it could overshadow it, so she encouraged him to record it with Rihanna instead.

But in an interview after the song’s release, Calvin dismissed the idea of working with Taylor, although secretly he already had.

Talking about the possibility of a collaboration, Calvin told Ryan Seacrest: “You know we haven’t even spoken about it. I can’t see it happening though.”

This was reportedly ‘the breaking point in the relationship’, and they broke up shortly after.

Yikes, drama!
