No wonder she had her ex Justin Bieber saying sorry! After health issues saw her gain a few kilos last year – and face a barrage of body shaming – Selena Gomez decided revenge was a dish best served smokin’ hot!

Yep, once her health was in check, Sel, 23, enlisted trainer Amy Rosoff Davis to overhaul her lifestyle and work her butt off for two hours a day, seven days a week. Phew!

“She’s incredible, I met her at Ballet Bodies in LA, and we have a really fun friendship,” explains Sel. “I’m training every day to build my stamina up for the [Revival] tour. But don’t get me wrong – it was not like this before the tour!”

And while they’re friends, Amy’s certainly made Sel embrace tough love at times!

What’s her approach?

“I will walk onto the tour bus and smell fast food, throw it in the trash, and hand her a carrot and hummus,” says Amy, who preaches sensible food choices. “I don’t believe in denying yourself, but I also believe in moderation. Life is too short not to enjoy food.”

What’s on the menu?

Instead of Sel’s beloved burgers and chips, Amy’s introduced more whole foods, like Omega 3-rich avocado, protein-heavy yoghurt and fibrous salads into the singer’s diet.
Then she’s so full of the good stuff, she can’t fit any fast food in! Amy calls this eating “like a French person”.
