Kate’s killer bod!

“I love my shape because I work really hard at it,” says the mum of sons Ryder, 12, and Bingham, four. “I honour my body by working out and seeing what it can do.”

On top of that, Kate keeps herself glowing and energetic with a mainly plant-based diet packed with non-acidic foods.

What does she eat?

“Because I want to be as healthy as possible, I eat alkaline,” says Kate. “It’s no dairy, it’s no wheat, it’s gluten-free, no meat, and no sugar.”

Why does it work?

While the alkaline diet is claimed to reduce the acidity in your body helps reduce inflammation and aids weight loss, it also involves plenty of fruits and vegetables, which are both high-fibre and low-kilojoule – a super slimming combo!

She cheats

Kate is all about balance, and she loves tucking into her mum Goldie Hawn’s home cooking, from curries to Southern dishes when she wants a meat treat.

“Enjoying good food is a huge part of being healthy and happy,” says Kate. “I absolutely believe in enjoying my food, especially when I travel. I don’t eat a lot of meat when I’m home, but I can’t be in Germany and not eat the bratwurst. I just love it so much.”

So don’t be a silly sausage – take her tips for toning that tum!
