Yep, it’s literally been two days since Blake Garvey and Louise Pillidge announced their split, and they’ve already racked up more interviews to talk about their, er, breakup…

Last night, they sat down with Today Tonight, and reveal that their mental health has suffered as a result of the public hate towards their controversial relationship.

“I’ve gone through bouts of depression and I know we’ve both gone through some acute anxiety,” Blake admits.

“You get looks and you know that you’re starting a series of conversations in the room just because you’ve entered it. That and many (other) factors make you really self conscious.”

They insist that their breakup was a mutual decision, and although they are currently still living together, Louise is considering moving back to Sydney.

“We love each other so much,” says Blake, “we’ve got so much respect for each other, we’ve been through the worst of the worst when it comes to it, I can’t think of many couples who have been that scrutinised and the bond that that has formed between us has been amazing.”

Now, rumours are also circulating that Louise might be the next Bachelorette, after the reporter asked the pair if they’d rule out appearing on reality TV again.

Blake flat out says no, while Louise paused, and says: “Do I have to answer that?…I’m still processing this.”

Then, in an interview with Kyle and Jackie O this morning, Jackie O asks again, and Louise says:

“Would you do it after all of this? I’m not sure, I think I just have to process this and go through it and what comes from this, who knows.” Oooooh, interesting!

The former Bachie stars revealed their break-up to New Idea on Monday.

“We sat down recently and Blake said: ‘It’s just not working. I feel like we’re treading water.’ I knew deep down that he was right but I would never have been strong enough to say it,” Louise admits.

Well, at least their extra publicity will keep them busy!
