Ariel Winter has no tolerance for bullying, so it’s no surprise she jumped at the chance to speak out about it in a photoshoot for Cosmopolitan magazine, where she dressed up as the sort of girls who would tease her in school!

The characters she chose to play were Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl, Amber from Clueless, Heather Chandler from Heathers, Nancy Downs from The Craft, and Regina George from Mean Girls, natch.

And although we can’t help but love these queen bees from the classic movies and TV shows they come from, Ariel makes it clear that she doesn’t idolise these nasty types of people, explaining:

“I don’t really admire somebody who deliberately goes out of her way to hurt other people. Being mean to people is not cool.”

“And why I found it so awesome to do this shoot and play these characters is that I’m right now trying to speak out against bullying and people tearing others down, and I love that I got to play these characters and trump them in a sense. I got to overtake them. What they do is not right — and I’m above it.”

Soooo good!

Earlier in the year she made headlines when defended a dress she wore on the SAG Awards red carpet, which showed the scars from her recent breast reduction surgery.

“There is a reason I didn’t make an effort to cover up my scars! They are part of me and I’m not ashamed of them at all,” she said.

You go girl!
