Adele has turned down the offer to play at the 2017 Super Bowl half-time show, because she “can’t dance.”

Yep, during a concert at the Staples Center in LA on Saturday night, Adele shot down rumours that she’d be headlining the half-time show in February.

“First of all, I’m not doing the Super Bowl. I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really- I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no,” she said.

Organisers had reportedly begged Adele to perform, with The Sun reporting that NFL bosses were “desperately trying to land Adele for what is one of the world’s most-watched sporting events.”

“There is nobody bigger in the world than Adele right now and organisers are doing absolutely everything they can to try to persuade her to sign up.”

“She’s sold out every date on her tour, everyone wants a piece of her and they know they can bank on her bringing in the viewers.” Sucks to be them!

But the British singer didn’t rule out performing at a future Super Bowl…

“Maybe next time, for my next album, because I’m going to do a dance album next time. So maybe I’ll do it then,” she said.

Adele forgets the lyrics and saves herself like a boss
