We’ve been waiting for years for the news that there could possibly be a Sex and the City reunion, following it’s hugely successful TV show and two movies.

And luckily for us, Sarah Jessica Parker – aka Carrie Bradshaw – has done nothing to quash rumours that more SATC could be on the way…

In fact, she’s strongly hinted that she, along with Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are all on board to return to their respective roles as Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda.

“I don’t think any of us have said no,” SJP told the Press Association. “I don’t know whether it’s a series or the movie. I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it’s been resolved. I think that’s always a possibility, definitely.”

The show’s creator Darren Star has previously spoken about how the show’s ending “ultimately betrayed” the point of the show “which was that women don’t ultimately find happiness from marriage.”

He added: “Not that they can’t. But the show initially was going off script from the romantic comedies that had come before it. That’s what had made women so attached.” YUP!

SATC had a few alternate endings…

But Mr.Big might be harder to get on board, as he revealed in an interview earlier in the year that he wasn’t totally sold on the idea of another show/movie.

“It’s been around so long and so many people talk about it that you may as well just go ahead and do it” — but he said he couldn’t see a third film getting off the ground,” he told the Kyle and Jackie O show.

“I truly don’t think anybody really wants to see a Sex and the City 3. We’ve all moved on and got kids … and there are much edgier shows on TV now that Sex and the City spawned.”

UM, WE STILL WANT TO SEE IT!!!

Meanwhile, SJP told the US Today Show last year that she and series producer Michael Patrick King had already discussed potential storylines.

“When and if we tell it remains unknown,” she said.

Michael also revealed back in 2014 that he thought the show still had more to give.

“It’s really like, is there enough or more to say that would justify people risking seeing their favourite characters again?” he told EW at the time. “And I think there’s one chapter left.”

SO DO WE!
