Married At First Sight‘s Alex Garner and Zoe Hendrix welcomed their baby girl Harper-Rose into the world two weeks ago, revealing their first family photos in Woman’s Day magazine.

But it wasn’t all smooth sailing, as Zoe revealed terrifying details of Harper’s birth, and how she was induced after suffering pelvic problems.

She told the publication that her experience was “terrifying” after Harper-Rose was born with her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck – twice.

“I was so scared of losing her,” Zoe revealed, admitting she had a sudden feeling a “fear rush over me.”

Harper recovered and is doing well now, so the new parents are enjoying every moment with their newborn baby girl.

“Sitting here holding something so precious – that is a part of me, that is my blood – is something I’ve always dreamed of, and I will cherish it forever,” Zoe said.

Alex agreed: “She’s stolen my heart in so many ways. I just feel like the luckiest man alive!”
