Kanye West has reportedly been released from UCLA Medical Center and is now home with his family – just one week after he was hospitalised following his alleged breakdown.

According to TMZ, Kanye left UCLA Medical Center with his wife Kim Kardashian and his personal doctor, Dr. Michael Farzam.

X17 first broke the news of Kanye’s release, with a source telling the site: “Kanye couldn’t take being in the hospital anymore. It made him feel like he was going crazy. Kim wasn’t there all day; she was home with the kids, so Kanye was lonely and it wasn’t helping his situation.”

They say the rapper “isn’t out of the woods” yet, and will continue to be treated for psychological and medical issues.

His release comes after a new report claiming that Kim and Kanye were fighting in the weeks leading up to his breakdown.

Following Kim’s Paris robbery ordeal, she said she felt like she couldn’t lean on the “workaholic” rapper, who was becoming increasingly “paranoid” and not sleeping.

“It’s just been hell for them,” a source told Us Weekly.

“He would be up all night ranting about things,” another insider revealed.

“He’d be up drawing, writing and sketching, or pacing and doing push-ups. he would not calm down and go to bed.”

Things then blew up when Kanye went on one his usual bizarre rants at one of his concerts, before fleeing the stage after just three songs.

Two days later he cancelled the rest of his Saint Pablo tour, and was hospitalised the following day.

“Kim is relieved he is getting the help he needs,” a source told Us Weekly.
